Well anything over 30 days is considered 'Not in good time' so either a new replacement or a refund is acceptable..

XFX - UK RMA Base - 2 Year Warranty (XFX only have lifetime warranty in the USA - they have a UK RMA base but their customer support is really poor having read various forums, stay away from them for sure) AVOID!
I had great customer service from XFX on my 8800GT/4850.

I'd avoid XFX just on the grounds that many of their HD5x cards had something stupid like a 35% failure rate

You need to update warranty for XFX. As XFX warranty is only supplied by the retailer itself for 2 years only. I agree the customer service sucks!

Worth noting graphics failiure rates, more reason not to buy XFX cards, especially with their diabolical warranty.

    New Update:

    1. Added POV (Point of View) to the list.

    2. Created an Excel Sheet for clearer reading, see the original post for details.

However at the begining of 2010 it was
    - MSI 1.24% (against 2.05%)
    - Gigabyte 1.28% (against 2.63%)
    - ASUS 1.51% (against 1.71%)
    - Sapphire 2.02% (against 2.7%)
    - Gainward 2.33% (against 3.15%)
    - PNY 3.1% (against 1.69%)
    - Point Of View 3.35% (against 4.67%)

Also lacks the data to the amount sold and models, eg I know gigabyte had a major issue with one of their super overclocked cards, on bad batch can seriously skew the numbers.

I will say XFX's history hasn't been great.

Nice list. I've had to rma a 5870 and a gtx 280 through ebuyer within a year, one was evga, one was an xfx. One was 6 months old and one was like 11 months old.

Must say excellent service through ebuyer. they didn't rma to the manufacturer, at least not until after they'd dealt with me, and on both occasions i had my money back within a week.

I have since bought 2 6950s from here. Hopefully they'll last a bit longer.

Interesting to note both cards i had die, had a very high failure rate the 5870 at 5%, and on another forum i saw a chart which listed the 280 at having a whopping 10% failure rate!

Hi, it's 2 years in the UK, but for people in the USA they can extend the warranty to lifetime if registered within 30 days.

PSU's on the other hand, are 3 years warranty plus an extended warranty to 5 years, that's if you register the PSU within 30 days of purchase.

I would not buy XFX products, but that's just me, stick to Gigabyte, KFA2, EVGA, MSI, PNY or possibly Zotac for graphics cards in terms of decent warranty service.

Sorry for the potentially stupid question, but I have a faulty MSI GTX 670 Oc Edition who would I need to speak to for me to RMA it?

The place where you got it from
If its from Ebuyer, Create a RMA request through your account.

As of 28/07/2013 Gigabyte UK:' RMA via retailer only'I've now got to try and sort out my GTX 660 OC through Ebuyer for a hopefully painless RMA. Wish me luck!

Gigabyte website does indeed say contact the place of purchase
Well when I bought my 560, IT WAS A 3 YEAR warranty through gigabyte!!!. dont know what crap they are trying to pull. but they have to replace it legally. doesn't matter about the current policy Right? or ebuyer has to do it on behalf of gigabyte. probably gigabyte though. im going to get it replaced! but the automatic ebuyer rma thing says it is out of warranty damnit. IT IS NOT. IT IS 3 YEARS!

First year I would always go through the retailer, you can always go through Gigabyte if you wish, just e-mail them via the Gigabyte link on the first post, they usually will accept the RMA, it should be quicker to.
