    Default Sempron 3000+

    Hi, I am attempting to OC my Sempron 3000+ and would like to know roughly what would be the mazimum to go to. I am using Systool. I am aware that different chips OC to different amounts and so would like to know just a guideline number.

    As long as the temperatures stay below 60C then it wouldn't matter if you overclocked it to the moon - just make sure you stress test it with prime 95 for about 8 hours...

    start by putting your memory on the DDR266 divider, this will *underclock* your memory while you find the max of your CPU. lower the HT multi from X5 to X4, finally change the HTT from 200 to 205 or 210, and see if it works!. if your system proves unstable then give it an ever-so-small volt bump. the memory you have chosen (DDR333) will limit your CPU overclock.
