Default What can you legally drive at 16?

    like two wheel wise??/

whats that biggest engine you can have?

    is it 50cc or 70cc?

i'm 16 on the 21st, and fancy a motox (style)bike, if the engine is small enough

Yep as long as you have a provisional.

And yarde, my cousin used to have quite a big crosser bike, it might have been a Kawasaki or Yamaha but it was blue and yellow, and that was only a 50 but it looked a lot bigger.

You're a lot older than you look. You haven't been able to drive a 3 wheeler at 16 for about 30 years
If you could arrange for a friend to cut off both your legs  then you could qualify for disability living allowance which entitles you to drive a car at 16

Ah the good old days, I used to ride a Suzuki GT250 on L plates back then, the other one they went for back then was thew Yamaha RD250 from memory, but didn't like them TBH, then the git's lower the size so at that point I would of had to drop back to one of those, just couldn't do it ROFL.

The above is great advice for a 50cc, get a cheapy so you can gain practical experience, remember you need to pass part 1 of your test before you can even ride it, I'm exempt personally but new riders have to do this, you then have 2 years to pass your full test, so get the cheap 50cc, after passing part 1 obviously, then get experience, do NOT take your part 2 test on it though, it's like taking a test in an automatic car, that is the ONLY thing you can drive, so as soon as your old enough upgrade to a 125cc then get a bit more experience with the extra weight\power then put in for your part 2 and your sorted, good luck.

I work for one of the UK'S biggest motorcycle companies Take my advice we always get younguns in looking for bikes. They are all NAFF. most of the 50 cc bikes are outsourced to china and are shockingly made. Wait until your 17 and get a Honda CBR 125 or an Aprilia RS125

DONT EVER BUY a chinese knock off bike it will brake

As cool as this aprilia RS 50 looks dont buy it. Its made of plastic i swear and they sound AWFUL. lots of brake downs too

Also Hurston where i workk we also have a MASSIVE MX and ATV company. We also have a race team that ride Kawasakis think we have one or two pros and a lot of the staff that work for us ride fir them too

My personal opinion on Mopeds are ... Because they have been restricted to 30mph they are far more dangerous than they ever were when they were unrestricted.

I drive a 44 tonner for a living and I can tell you it frightens the bejesus out of us let alone the poor booger on the ped.

At the age you would be riding them you also feel you are immortal.

    Bad mix !!

no you cant you can only drive one on L plates on the way to take your tractor drivers test. Done mine you see. You can also drive a quadbike (with a provisional) on L plates on the roads if it is registered as an agricultural vehicle, but only within 6 miles of where it is registered.
