You should spend more as you dont want to get a rubbish PSU then get everything on your computer working then your PSU blows all your equipment.

Theres a shop locally selling 400Wers at £30. It might be more expensive but at least I can take it back and get advice ..

My current system (which will be the same as my new system but with a new motherboard) came with a 300W.

Yeh, but if you get an unreliable cheap PSU, and it blows takes all your stuff (gfx, mobo etc) then you'd find out the hard way why not to get rubbish PSU's (says me with a artic power -.- but it'll be changing soon )

I really recommend you spend a bit more and get something that will last you a while.

This Ocz is excellent value: http://www.ebuyer.com/product/135159 and should be able to power most system easily.

The thing about cheap PSU's is that there more likely to break. They dont have as good componets such as circuit breakers such as branded PSU's such as Corsair, Seasonic etc so when they do break there more likely to damage your other components.

Also, there no where as powerful. The Arctic 700w wouldn't be as powerful as the Ocz 500w. Cheap PSU manufacturers rate there PSU as maximum output where as branded PSU's give an average rating. Am['s is they key to getting a good PSU!
